Guesses:
· Season Four is likely to end with the ladies of Desperate Housewives jumping to the future and ageing 5 years.
· When Season 5 airs reports are rife that the ladies of Wisteria Lane will be 5 years older.
This has been reported to allow for the Scavo Children to become a little more interesting and for Susan to have bypassed the first five years of motherhood
Another Rumor: is that it will go back in time to when Mary Alice was alive and well. Even though it is unlikely that the TV show will go back to the first season.

“Edie is going to cross a huge moral boundary that she’s never crossed before on the show and it will have devastating consequences for her and lead to a shocking conclusion to her time on Wisteria Lane.” Conclusion? What happens? “That’s all I’m going to say.”
